North of town lies the valley for which Twin Valley was named.  Along State Highway 32, where the Wild Rice River and the Mashaug Creek meet is the area we call Heiberg.

Heiberg is a multiple use park area taken care of by the City of Twin Valley for both locals and visitors to enjoy.

On the West Side of Highway 32, along the shore of the Wild Rice River, you will find a designated Camping Area, Picnic Shelter with sidewalks for handicap access, Playground, Boat and Canoe Launch, Heiberg Dam Overlook, Swimming Beach and Fishing Area.

On the East Side of Highway 32, enjoy a walking bridge over the Mashaug Creek, Playground Areas, and Multiple Picnic Shelters.
